Turn cold calls into warm calls before you dial
To turn cold calls into warm calls, the prospect needs to have seen you before the phone rings. Prosperian detects a signal, sends a first message tied to it, then has you call once the prospect has reacted.

What SDRs using it say
“I was pleasantly surprised by Prosperian. Cold calls, which used to be a chore, have become much smoother and more enjoyable. Between the power dialer, which lets me qualify and move from one call to the next at breakneck speed, and manual lead enrichment, it's the complete platform I needed to save time and focus on my sales.”
Christian Foham, CEO's Right Hand | Growth & Outbound Prospecting
“As an SDR, Prosperian is a real advantage in time saved and convenience. My calls follow one another with no time wasted, and the tool is very easy to use.”
Othmane Bayahya, Business Developer @ Bee Nice
“Prosperian made me more productive, with clear traceability on my day-to-day tasks as an SDR. I recommend it!”
Louis Vimart-Camier, SDR @ Scal IA
A cold call goes out with no reason, no context and no timing
Cold calling does not fail because the phone is outdated. It fails because nothing comes before the call.
- No reasonThe prospect has no idea why you are calling, and deep down neither do you. The call rests on a row in a list, not on a fact.
- No contextThey have never seen your name. Your voice is the first trace of your company, at the worst possible moment to make an impression.
- No timingThey may have no project underway. Even a strong pitch falls flat when the topic is not on their mind.
What makes a call warm, and what you get from it
Three ingredients make the difference. Two effects follow in the conversation.
- A fact you can mention: the prospect changed jobs, their company is hiring or raised funds, they reacted to a post.
- A first touch: an email or LinkedIn message went out before the call, and the prospect saw it or accepted the invitation.
- A chosen moment: tracking signals raise the heat score and tell you when to dial, without ever being quoted to the prospect.
- A natural opener: the rep picks up the thread of the message instead of introducing themselves from scratch.
- A calmer exchange: the prospect knows who you are, so they can say no politely or say yes without suspicion.
Turn cold calls into warm calls in four steps, in one tool
Each step adds a layer of context before the rep dials.
- Step 01Spot the signalJob changes, hiring, funding rounds, post reactions, incoming invitations: Prosperian tracks more than thirty signals and ties them to the right contacts.
- Step 02Send the first messageA short message quotes the observed fact and asks one question. It goes out by email to a verified address, or on LinkedIn.
- Step 03Wait for a reactionAn accepted invitation, a reply, some engagement: each raises the heat. The call queue can be sorted from hottest to coldest.
- Step 04Call with the cardIn the power dialer, the card recalls the signal, the suggested angle, the activation history and what not to say.
Warm call script: from accepted invitation to booked meeting
Use it when the prospect has accepted your LinkedIn invitation and their company is hiring. Swap the quoted fact for the real signal.
Opener: "Hi {first_name}, it's {my_name} from {my_company}. Thanks for accepting my invitation last week. Do you have two minutes?"
Reason: "I saw that {company} is hiring several sales reps right now, and that is what made me want to call you."
Question: "When a team grows like yours, how do you decide who the new reps call first?"
Listen: let {first_name} describe how they do it, then sum it up in one sentence before going further.
Bridge: "That is exactly the problem we work on. I can show you how we approach it in twenty minutes."
Ask: "Thursday morning or Friday afternoon, which works better for you?"
Do not say: no email open, no click, no visit to your website. Those signals chose the moment; they do not open the conversation.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a warm call and a cold call?
A cold call starts from a list. A warm call starts from a signal and follows a first touch: the prospect has already seen your name, and you have a concrete reason to call.
Should we stop cold calling altogether?
Not necessarily. Some teams keep cold calls for a few segments. The idea is to work the prospects with a reason to listen first, and keep cold calling for the rest.
Can we tell the prospect they visited our website?
No. Visits, opens and clicks are there to time the call, never to be quoted. Prosperian only suggests angles based on facts the prospect recognizes, and the card flags what is better left unsaid. That is what avoids the "I'm watching you" effect.
How long between the first message and the call?
There is no fixed delay: you call once the prospect has reacted. That is the job of the heat score and of a queue sorted from hottest to coldest.
Is warm calling the same thing?
Same principle. Our article on warm calling gives the full definition; this page shows how to apply it day to day with Prosperian.
